Beacon is a leader in the management of senior multi-family communities. As more Americans age we are changing the way we think about aging and how we approach service for our senior citizens. We start by assembling caring and compassionate teams who are trained to listen to the needs of older adults. Our staff members understand that their positions require more than collecting rent or making repairs inside of an apartment home. They address residents’ concerns promptly, respectfully and attentively. Maintenance personnel are instructed to be vigilant in regard to potential hazards and to report concerns. We support and promote our residents’ independence and well-being.
In addition to standard property management services, Beacon promotes a number of additional benefits for our senior communities. They include the following:
Activities
Because it is so important for older adults to stay active and socialize, Beacon sponsors a host of activities that include holiday celebrations, birthday parties, movies, music performances, spa days, dances, sporting events, tournaments, bus trips, games and much more.
Health, Safety and Nutrition
Beacon networks with health care professionals to sponsor and promote a number of seminars and workshops on topics designed to keep our seniors safe, healthy and happy.
Social Services
Beacon collaborates with local, state and federal agencies to ensure our residents are provided with information and resources that help improve the quality of their lives.
Clubs and Organizations
Beacon recognizes that group participation is important to senior citizens. We support a number of clubs and volunteer organizations that include: Veterans, Bingo, cards, fellowship, gardening, reading, sewing, art, volunteer organizations and many others.
Classes
Because we believe there is always time to learn, we encourage our residents to take classes provided to assist them in this process. They include, quilting, sewing, art, ceramics, computer technology, golf and tennis and many more.
Pet Friendly
Since many older adults live alone, Beacon encourages a pet-friendly environment in our senior communities. We have built dog parks and pet stations and sponsored many pet events. Beacon partners with a local veterinarian to annually provide free vaccinations for our residents’ pets.
